Rhonda Fisher - K5
I was born in Charleston, West
Virginia, and moved to Roanoke, Virginia my 10th grade year in high
school. I have taught in West Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina,
and South Carolina. I have taught in both private and public
I graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia in
1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary
Education K-8 and middle school Language Arts. I have completed
twelve hours of my masters. This is my twentieth year as a classroom
teacher. I have taught K4 special needs, regular K4, kindergarten,
1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I have also worked as a Teacher Assistant
for two years and an Early Interventionist with Dorchester County
Board of Disability and Special Needs.
I live in Summerville with my wonderful husband Ed, of twenty two
years. We have twenty year old twin daughters Megan and Emily. Megan
attends College of Charleston and Emily attends University of South
Carolina. My best children would be my two Golden Retrievers, Aspen
and Thor. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family,
reading, traveling, and going to the beach.
I am happy to say this is my fifth year at Colleton Preparatory
Academy. I know it will be filled with excitement, anticipation and
learning. I look forward to getting to know you and teaching your
child. My door is always open!!
