Mrs. Fisher
I was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and moved to Roanoke, Virginia my 10th grade year in high school. I have taught in West Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I have taught in both private and public schools.

I graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education K-8 and middle school Language Arts. I have completed twelve hours of my masters. This is my twentieth year as a classroom teacher. I have taught K4 special needs, regular K4, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I have also worked as a Teacher Assistant for two years and an Early Interventionist with Dorchester County Board of Disability and Special Needs.

I live in Summerville with my wonderful husband Ed, of twenty two years. We have twenty year old twin daughters Megan and Emily. Megan attends College of Charleston and Emily attends University of South Carolina. My best children would be my two Golden Retrievers, Aspen and Thor. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, reading, traveling, and going to the beach.

I am happy to say this is my fifth year at Colleton Preparatory Academy. I know it will be filled with excitement, anticipation and learning. I look forward to getting to know you and teaching your child. My door is always open!!
