First Grade Teacher

Kathy Houck has been a 1st grade teacher at Colleton Prep Academy for 16 years. Prior to that, she taught 1st grade for two years at Flowertown Elementary School and spent one year teaching Kindergarten at Oakbrook Elementary in Summerville. Mrs. Houck received a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Baptist College in Charleston. She also received a Master’s Degree in Reading from the Citadel. Mrs. Houck is the wife of Lin Houck and the mother of four children; Jordan, Haley, Reed, and Hannah.
